Very good question indeed !

If we understand Krishna, we will really understand the hinduism and

the way to live in kaliyuga.

Kauravas did so much wrong from the beginning....poisoning Bhim..

depriving pandavas of the kingdom and when they made their own

kingdom that was snatched by crook ways... they tried to kill

pandavas in lakshagriha... called draupadi a prostitute.

and during all these tyrannies, Krishna never asked Pandavas to

fight. Why ? Because Krishna knew there is lot of negativity in

Pandavas that needs to be fought first !!

Exile of pandavas for 13 years...arjuna's tapasaya and all the

happenings in jungles... helped pandavas to fight the negativity

inside and become stronger and purer.

Even at the last moment of Mahabharat... krishna offered to go

as Peace Ambassador.

It is only when both the armies were face to face... Krishna

sounded his Panchjanya Shankh and asked Arjuna to Fight.

so in a nut shell.. Krishna does want us to be pure and strong

inside before fighting the negativity outside.... and after wards it

becomes the fight of Krishna.. we fight it or not !!! He wil force

us to fight !

Om Nama Shivaya.

ShantnuJi, BabaJI, PyariJi.,

Namaskar.

How can a person who has not won the internal war be correct to wage

a war externally?

It would be disasterous as Kauravas who never fought the internal war

but with creed and selfpride waged the external war and ended up

nowhere. Even krishna did the tricks and helped only Arjuna and his

team to wage the external war cleaning the internal war doubhts.

Gandhi and Russel who have come accross people of kauravas aswell as

pandavas felt if GITA also taught us to wage exteral war, the world

will end in chaos, where as Aurabindo or Osho came accross people who

wished / were fighting the inner war would have said this coz they

would understand the cause and consequence of the external war.

Pls correct my veiws are wrong.

So Babaji & Senthilji, if Pakistanis attack us, we should wait for our

Army to become " internaly pure " before responding? Maybe thats why

almost everyone ruled us for 1000 years?

And Arjun & the Pandavas werent internaly pure! They were purer than

Kauravs, but not perfectly pure in themself. A perfectly pure person

loses interest in the world & its petty problems.

Senthilji, you say Gandhi & Russel met certain types of people, so

they preferred non violence, while Autobindo met other types of

people. Not true! Russel was an armchair academic. Aurobindo was a

fiery revolutionary before becoming a Sadhu. So Aurobindo met both

types of people- violent & non-violent.

The difference b/w Gandhi & Russel on 1 hand, & Arvind & Osho on the

other, is that Gandhi & co. were talking froma purely

mental/intellectual level. Sri Arvind & Osho had actual practical

meditation experience, & they were talking from there.

Gandhi was just an intellectual, although a lucky one. What would have

happened to his Satyagraha if Hitler had ruled India- he would have

been shot! What would have happened to Gandhi if he was born during

Muslim invasions of India? Thats why his theories are intellectual-

they work only in some cases.

Thats why I dont agree with his claim that Gitas battle is purely

internal- it can be internal, but also external if the circumstances

require it. Thats what Aurobindo & Osho stress.

LOL.... fighting of army to protect the country is altogether

different thing. When someone comes to hit me.. my first job is to

save myself... internally pure or not. and same Pandavas did in the

War of Viraat...they fought and defeated Kauravas without Krishna's

help.

about Pandavas, it was not a war as a war between India and

Pakistan.. and Krishna wanted to destroy the negativity with the

help of positive energy...hence he purged Pandavas.

And when war ended...even pandavas vanished as they were only

working as tools

For a spiritual person this formula fits that he has to fight the

internal negativity first and then if external negativity attacks he

has to fight with them.

this rule does not apply to common men, nations and societies..

their energies keep fighting with each other and prove each other's

supermacy.. of course that too is a game of Krishna.. but in this

case..Krishna is on neither side.

Had Krishna being on India side, Pakistan would have bee

destroyed.

who knows these wars and terrorists attack on India by Pakis are

purging in a way

Om Nama Shivaya.

ShantnuJI,

Gita can be intepreted for both internal and external wars. Krishna

advised to do the duties. If you are a sathriya you have to protect

your country and people, if you are a business man you have to make

profits to provide work for the labours, if you are a farmer you have

to cultivate to feed the people, just do your duties rest will be

taken care by him.

So its the sathriyas duty to fight for his country, other can help

him instead should not ignite a fight or wage a war which may give

fatal results.

Spiritually gita has to be taken into account to fight internal war.

Gita teaches us to controll the rush of blood.

But as said by Osho tamoguna canot be subsidised but should be

drained out. but how many people will do it in a way without hurting

others?

Osho and Aurobindo said so coz their teaching are read/followed by

people who are interested in fighting the internal war and yes then

these people can understand the cause and consequences of external

war. but where as Gandhi was followed blindly by lot of lay man, who

would misinterpret Gita if it was said to wage external war.

Gita for internal or external war should be understood in a right way.
