Hmmmmmm,

 

Acc to Tantra, the Universal Soul Shiv has 2 main qualities: Light &

Sound. Understanding the secrets of Light & sound will help us reveal

the Soul within.

 

On the other hand, we we " See " the soul 1st, the secrets of Light &

sound will again be revealed.........

Soul or Atman is the light of lights, therefore soul reveals the light.

Atman is self revealing and it cannot be revealed by anything else.

Soul and light themselves are so connected that you can not seperate

them. For example, the more spiritualiy pure you are the more sphere

of light you have , the more sphere of light you have the more

spiritual knowledge you have.

 

So I believe you can not seperate them. However for many explanation

we can use the appropiate terms which can explain the speritual

theory.Some may be explaianble with light and some may be with soul.

 

And if you think deep enough you will find that both are virtually

the same thing.

Soul or Atman is the light of lights, therefore soul reveals the light of

the sun, moon, fire etc. The sun shines because of the light of the Atman,

the sun does not have an independent light of its own.

Atman is self revealing and it cannot be revealed by anything else. Only

after the light of Atman shines that every thing else is revealed. In a dead

body the light of Atman does not shine and therefore nothing else can shine

there, the light of the sun, moon, stars fire etc. has no effect on the dead

body.

Like to recall a few chants from Svetasvatara Upanishad:

I know the great Purusha, who is " luminous " , like the sun and beyond

darkness. Only by knowing Him does one pass over death; there is no

other way to the Supreme Goal.

He is the Eternal among the eternal, the Conscious among the conscious

Him, the " luminous Lord " , the Great Cause, to be realised by Knowledge

deities, the Ruler of rulers; who is higher than the imperishable

prakriti and is the " self—luminous " , adorable Lord of the world.

after Him. " By his light all this is lighted " .
