Ego - Dissolve or Purify

Hi group.

I was having a discussion with him about ego. 2 points were brought up; 1. the

goal of spiritual practices was to dissolve the ego, and 2. without the ego one

ceases to exist so the goal is to purify the ego. I wanted to offer this to the

group and get some feedback from other members and their view of the ego. Namah
