Guest guest
Dear Ryan ~ what a lovely poem. To me it also seemed like a prayer when I read it. I'm sorry for whatever closed your heart, and I hope the poem helped to open it again. Perhaps you could think of sending it in to be included in " Immortal Bliss. " They include people's poetry all the time, and your is wonderful. ~ Linda Ryan wrote: I haven't written poetry in years. After a traumatic experience I closed off my heart to this kind of expression. In an attempt to open up again I am going to write a poem about Amma. So here it goes: Mother how can I express what you mean to me? With a simple embrace you take away all my suffering. Even if only for that moment. You stand out like a beacon on a foggy sea, Drawing me closer with each passing wave. You give without pause, Fed by the source of all things. No words could begin to capture What you are. So Mother all I can say is, Thank you.
Guest guest
Dear Ryan ~ just mail it to the M.A. Center in California (the address in on Amma's website) and put ATTN: Immortal Bliss under the street address. It would be wonderful if more people could benefit from your poem. You could even put the " story " of how you came to write it in also. Sometimes they include that too. Of course, there is no guarantee, but it doesn't hurt to try. Jai Ma ~ Linda Fyan wrote: Thank you so much for your insight. You're right it is a prayer. I hadn't looked at it that way. But as writing it I imagined I was talking to Amma. I would love to submit it to immortal bliss but I'm not sure how to do that. I couldn't find anything online. Thanks again for your kind thoughts.
