Guest guest
I am new to Amma and her children. I have been to darshan a handfull of times. I'm not sure what it means to be a devotee. Is Amma a Satguru? If so how do I receive her blessings and guidance when I cannot live at the ashram? What does it mean to you to be an Amma devotee? If the spirit moves you to answer any or all of these question please reply. Jai Ma!
Guest guest
Namaste dear technosadhak Welcome to the Amma group. Please feel free to join in and take the time to see if you can find resonance here. I am sure there are as many definitions of what it is to be Amma's devotee as there are children of Amma. I will briefly share what it is for myself to be an Amma devotee. Amma lives within the heart. And Her only desire is to share the pure Love of God/dess with all as She lives a life of service. My job as a devotee is to surrender and allow Her trans-formative processthat begins and ends in Her Heart. Not all can live at Amma's ashram, but anyone can surrender the heart to live at Her feet. Amma is everywhere and She is in the fingers that typed your questions. If it be your true desire Amma will teach you that. Technosadhak do you live in a place that has an Amma Satsang? That would be a good thing to look into. Also Amma has children that offer the I Am Meditation as Amma tours and also at different places throughout the year. 'I Am' might be something to check. Have you found Amma's Amritapuri website? Lots and Lots of information is located there. There is an Amma devotee blog where one can join in with other devotee. There is also a link where you can write Amma and send Her your thoughts or prayers. One can also follow Amma's heart and work through that site or through Twitter or the Facebook sites. There are many places to plug into the cyberworld and of course the most important place to plug into for an Amma devotee is one's heart, all else is secondary. Yet each can be a way to sustain the connection via our global world. Do check out the official Amma sites for there She gives lots of information and teaching for the devotees. Please feel free to ask questions here and if we don't have an answer, which is quite possible, we can try to direct you to the place that will be able to answer your questions. " Come quickly darling children, whose essence is divinity. Leave behind sorrow becoming adorable, and merge into the Light. Though you stumble my children, Mother walks beside you, revealing the Way. Remember in your hearts that the Supreme Being is Love, and meditating on that form you will become that Love. " Amma May Amma's heart and blessing be with you. In Amma marci, ordinary sparrow Ammachi , " technosadhak " <technosadhak wrote: > > I am new to Amma and her children.
