Guest guest
with KC Satsang ~ WED 2/17/2010 ~ at 9PM CENTRAL TIME THIS IS FROM SUE AND TOM ttarr Om Namah Shivaya Wednesday, Feb. 17 will be our bi-weekly chanting of 108 names of Devi. We start at 9 PM (Central) and finish within around 20 minutes. You can dial in and participate from wherever you are. Feel free to tell your friends and other Amma devotees. If you would like to receive email reminders about this chanting, please reply to this email and we'll put you on the distribution list. Here is the dialing information: Conference Dial-in Number: 1- (641) 715-3300 Participant Access Code: 885890# If you phone in after the chanting has started, please note: * If the chanting has not yet begun, please announce your name when you call in. With all this technology, it's nice to have at least a quick human connection. * We'll start our chanting with 3 OMs then the Dhyana sloka. Then we'll chant the 108 names of Devi as it appears in the little, purple Puja book. We'll finish with Closing Prayers. * One goal is to produce a beneficial impact on humankind and nature with all of us chanting together. * Another goal is to practice the names of Devi in this " call and response " format. * Due to the auditory confusion produced by lag times and other sound distortions from various phone systems, we have recently begun the practice of muting everyone except two people - usually Mike and me. This way everyone can hear the chanting clearly. But we still encourage you to repeat the mantra wherever you are. While your voice may be muted, your intention adds to the intentions of others, and the vibration of your chanting contributes to the energy around you. * As soon as the Closing Prayers are complete, Mike will unmute everyone's phones so those who wish can share their experiences for a couple of minutes before we sign off. This may be tricky with all the odd auditory feedback and lag times, but I think it's worth the human connection! Thank you in advance for joining us!
