allows the Lord's healing substance to enter him/her. Because the

subtle/psychological and the gross/material are directly connected, it is

possible for a concrete reality to be created out of intense longing and total

surrender on the part of the worshiper. "

interesting story: the first I heard of Haidakhan Babaji was from an Amma

devotee; before meeting Amma, she had started her spiritual journey with a group

of Haidakhan Babaji devotees; almost immediately she had an inner connection to

Babaji and life was good; well? she did have a lot of challenges, alcoholic

husband with all the health problems that go with that, etc; but the spiritual

inner connection to Babaji gave her strength and she did very well helping

others with her healing arts; then she met Amma and again was overwhelmed; what

to do? she prayed to Babaji and he told her " go to Amma, she has a manifest

body, that will help " now she also has a very strong inner connection to the

Inner Amma as well as spending a lot of time with the body-form Amma !
