Guest guest
When the Guru says something, we should understand that it is for our ultimate good. Sometimes we may feel it does not sound logical, or it is not really useful because it seems insignificant or does not make any sense. If Amma instructs us with spiritual advice or certain warnings, we should remember that if not for today, tomorrow it may have significance. Amma once told us about a man that She felt had some heart problem. She suggested that he get himself checked by a doctor, but he refused as he felt that there was nothing wrong wit him. Six months later he died of a heart attack. On another occasion, Amma advised a different man that he should have his heart checked. He told Her that he had already done so in the UK, and that the doctors had not found anything wrong with him. Still Amma insisted that he should get his heart checked again. He did and this time they found that he actually had a triple block. When Amma says something, it is always for a reason. The words of a Mahatma will always come true. So many times this has been proven in my life.
