Guest guest
Everyday, wherever we are, we are given the chance to " stand up " for what's right, or go with the herd. If I had been in Dayamrita's shoes, I would've acted a little more on your behalf, telling a " brother " to get his sh** together. I'm glad he tried to help, but I wonder if he could've done more. Anyone in robes that knew about the situation should've told Amma about it, and talked to both of you about it and the possible consequences. When love strikes, we don't think clearly. I'm sure Amma would've said something like " Settle it! " (ie, get married or let it go, but with respect). No one cares these days, I'm sorry, but it's true. Unless you're a believer 110%, you're just another non-believer. BTW, 1000 devotees of the 110%-type couldn't beat me in a debate of Amma's teachings, so ha! That it is the Bramachari's Dharma to do the right thing as well as Ammachi's. (snip)
