Guest guest
Tom, I agree it would have been wonderful if what you suggested below happened. But it didn't because of _____ ? Now, what ??? Ammachi , " bluepearllight " <bluepearllight wrote: > > ... " If I had been in Dayamrita's shoes, I would've acted a little more on your behalf, telling a " brother " to get his sh** Anyone in robes that knew about the situation should've told Amma about it, and talked to both of you about it and the possible consequences. " This is I hope my lost post on this subject as it feels good to get the truth out, and I should have made this more public while it was happening so I could have been guided appropriately myself and saved from much grief. Kamal told Swami Ramakrishna about it even before we became intimate. Ramakrishna did not really choose to help. They have all been living a certain life in India for 13-30 years. Ammachi's teachings to Bramachari's and Swamis are very different then what we hear in the general public. They are taught to believe that the only true and safe place to be is with her physical body always or with her in Amritapuri. They are not encouraged to fraternize with those in the world, even their own families. How these brothers and sisters are to understand this while working and traveling in the world all year, is a great confusion. Very few of us can afford such a life. And such a life is not necessary as God, is always with us where ever we go. He is in our hearts and we must always have our mind on him and keep calling him to be in our hearts. I think both Kamal and the Swami must have done their best as far as their true understanding about living life in the world it was truly like asking all of these people to try to work through a unique experience that was being spoken in another language. I do not think we have any idea of how things are really lived out in Amritapuri, the rules there do not apply to the rest of the world, I would be happy to try to find information that describes what really goes on behind the scenes there so that we can see what our brothers and sisters are taught and the principles to which they live by. All I know as far as Babaji and Jesus is that we should all be living in truth, simplicity, love, service and compassion, nothing too confusing and complex that would cause damage to others if faced with an experience with someone who lives " in the world " as truly Amritapuri is also " in the world " it is only a psychological and mental thought that would make a distinction between the two. Ammachi could have taught what Jesus now teaches and that is that we are all to renounce worldly things according to our needs, as for Jesus it is OK to marry and have children, but in the end we are all taking on spiritual poverty and simplicity and trying to use our time to serve others.
