Guest guest
Just some thoughts that I wanted to share with you all. No need to read if you're not interested. Remember the Saturu will sometimes act in a way that isn't logical or seems different from how they usually act. How they act towards one person is for that person's benefit not for the Satguru nor for anyone else. What Amma says or does to someone is not relevant to someone else because it is always for a specific purpose for the person it is directed to. The Satguru is beyond everything and is not defined by a particular behavior or act. Certain actions are usually done to crush the person's ego, to help mold them, to lessen a certain karmic impact, and more. So to make judgments of how Amma acts or what She says based on stories being heard, from gossip, or from personal experience is only portraying Amma as a human being with ego and limits rather than respecting Her as a Satguru, a True Master, as Brahman in Form. In fact if one is speaking of Amma this way, then obviously one is not seeing Her for who She truly is. You can either see Amma as a Satguru and have total faith in that, that ALL IS PERFECT around Her or see Her as an imperfect human being and constantly question everything without humility. If you accept Amma as your Satguru, then you have to have surrender, trust, faith and humility that She will help you reach your goal of Self-Realization. If one day She totally ignores you or disregards any gift you give Her, or something like that, are you going to gossip about how She treated and acted towards you? Those types of actions have a very specific purpose to mold you, to make you shine brighter. She is doing the dirty work for us. This relationship is not like any other relationship. It does not fit any particular mold, so it is beyond logic. Amma will take us through twists and turns with us not knowing what to expect around the corner, but if you truly have faith in Her Love for us, then there is nothing to be fearful of where She is guiding us. It is all perfect with Her Pure Love for us.. It is not beneficial to spread what other people say about their own negative or not so good experiences with Amma because they only contribute to misunderstandings, to bias, fosters gossip, feeds egos, creates new judgments and doubts, causes bickering between devotees, and takes time and energy away from more productive, loving and positive things. This guru-shishiya relationship with Amma that I have learnt is very sacred and not everything that one experiences is meant to be shared unless there is total understanding in the Satguru's actions beforehand among us. Reading a lot about the saints (both Eastern and Western) and about Amma continuously will help tremendously to understand the nature of life around the Satguru, make sense of things, clears up doubts, and also is a great way for Amma to syncronistically give you answers you need through them. Also remember the staff of the organization are not without faults of their own regardless of how long they have been with Amma, so they shouldn't be the cause of any doubts in a relationship with Amma because this relationship with Amma exists not only externally but within as well. There should be a distinction between the two. In Amma's Love, Stacy
