Greetings beloved brothers and sisters and Darling children of

AMMA(LOVE).According to the Scriptures of what we call the Bible, when Jesus

Christ walked in the flesh He was said to be possessed of a demon by many of the

Jews of that time.

It says that " He came to His own and His Own received Him not. " According to

the story

it was His own blood related people that also contributed to the Divine plan of

His crucifixion.

We on the spiritual path have said that this crucifixion was symbolic of the

ego ,yet we can see it also playing out in our lives and in the lives of the

Saints.

What Master has walked this earth and not been met with controversial

opinions?Have we not beheld this happening over and over again.Who will be

strong enough to say that we all would be wise to look in the mirror and look at

our very own hypocrisy.... "

Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!!

Namaskarams!!

thank you Temba for a very beautifully expressed " credo " ...i think that you have

'hit the nail on the head' so to speak with that posting.

i think that some people are all too eager to blame Amma for everything bad that

happens in their lives....but what about the good things? do they blame Her for

those too? or only the bad ones....if one is going to assign blame to the Guru,

or God for what happens to one in a negative way, one must also assign the

" blame " for all good things that happen to one to that same Guru or God, or one

is simply not very consistent.

on the other hand, if we want to say that the good things have arrived in our

lives due to our own work, and our own merits, then we must also admit that the

bad things that happen to us, may also be due to our own actions and our own

lack of merits....

you can't blame God for the bad things and take all the credit for the good

ones. (well...you can, but it's not very ethical or correct)...

when Amma is blamed for breaking up marriages, and families, i would tend to say

that either those families NEEDED breaking up, (if they really did break

up)...as happened to me just before i met Amma, when She was " cleaning house " ,

during my sade sati, (seven and one half years of " bad luck " when Saturn was

oppressing my birth moon by transit....

i could blame Mother for it, but even then i could see that it was really better

that the breakup happen, despite the temporary pain and dislocation. this was

true, and now my ex wife and i (and my current wife) are best of friends...

incidentally, how many of these unfortunates that are blaming Amma for their

troubles, have investigated their Vedic Astrological birth charts, with regard

to current transits when the bad things happen. Just as Mother has said so many

times, people often come to Her for help, when suffering from afflictions by the

planets Saturn, Mars, and Rahu-Ketu....

Sade sati (seven and one half years of Saturn Transitting birth moon) is one

particularly bad time for most people...they lose people close to them. any

flaws in character get magnified and rubbed in one's own face, until one becomes

humble enough to address them and correct them somewhat...Saturn does NOT like

people who think they are superior to others...He prefers the humble ones, who

help poor folks and old folks...

so any troubles in one's life, i would suggest might require the investigation

of one's astrological issues, rather than just lumping all the blame on Mother.

She does say that She can work with some of these negative karmas, reducing them

somewhat, if one has enough faith, and is willing.....but She doesn't promise to

relieve all our ills...often She will say that She could remove the trouble, but

that we might have to go through it again in the future, as we haven't really

dealt with the issue...we can't expect Her to fix EVERYTHING...She often will

work with our attitudes ABOUT the issues, rather than the issues themselves.

i think that people expect too much out of Mother when they meet Her and when

everything doesn't immediately turn up rosy, and they get enlightened, the

delusions quickly shift in a negative direction....

ie, " since She didn't give me all i want, She CAN'T do it...since She broke up

my family She's nasty, since She didn't give me instant liberation, She CAN'T do

it... " no thought of whether " i " might actually have earned any breaks, or not,

whether " i " might be ready for liberation or not, whether my family should have

stayed together or not....nope...just BLAME the GURU!!! She's got wide and

strong shoulders...She can take it!!!

as i've said so many times before to the Amma nay sayers...we should look in our

own eyes and remove the beams of bad character that reside there, before we even

think of criticising ANY ONE ELSE for their spiritual life, and most especially

our GURU....(if we have truly accepted Her as our Guru, that is).

if you don't like how the organisation works, don't hang out with them...just do

your practices inwardly...if you don't like how Amma works...and want to leave,

go ahead LEAVE! but you don't really have the right to try and convert everyone

else in the Amma families to your skepticism and doubt. you CAN'T help others in

this manner. you can only do damage to them.

Much Love to ALL,

In Her Divine Love,

and in Her Service,

as ever,

your own Self,
