Guest guest
Before I tell my story I ask for prayer and protection from Ammachi herself, and her Organization, as well as Prayer and protection from Lord Babaji, Lord Jesus Christ and Mother Mary. May we all come together in peace, each of us, no matter where we are in this world. The following story is one where there was a misunderstanding of peace and love, and God himself forgives us in every moment. God himself loves each of us equally and could never chose one over another. If this is happening at all in Amritapuri and in Ammachi's mission we humbly request that it stop. We are all one. We are all just as precious, important and lovely as all of our brothers and sisters on this Earth. My wish for this new year is that we truly begin to see this in each moment in our lives not matter what the situation, myself included. Dear Stacy, Thank you. I think I feel fear now and great shock and sadness myself. I will tell my personal story. As there are others involved that work closely to Ammachi. I will say that there is much that goes on around her during her visits here and for the person that visits infrequently and stays within, there is mostly joy and peace to be found. I had great peace, love and bliss in her presence for several years.I met one of Ammachi's Bramachari's on tour. Ammachi encouraged both of us for over a year to trust our feelings for one another and come together. For myself, I thought this meant a marriage, as this is what he asked of me. There were some mistakes that we both made during the second year of our friendship. But Ammachi wrongly judged the situation and harmed my life to the degree that I am not able to participate easily in life and feel my peace, I have been so ill. It has been almost two years and has cost my parents tens of thousands of dollars. I lost a job that took me three years to find, and the relationship to both Ammachi, who I had complete faith in and the man I was in love with. I trusted both of them during that time with my life and did not protect myself by asking Ammachi for help, as like you, she had always encouraged me to trust her and remain close in a personal way. I did write to her about all of this recently and I did approach her last fall with my father to explain to her that it was her responsibility to speak to both the man and myself immediately after it was clear that we had fallen in love. Ammachi could have been a true mother and loving chaperon for both of us and taught us about the appropriate marriage and friendship customs between a Western woman and an Indian man, this would have eliminated any confusion between the two of us and any need for mistake. This was what we both deeply needed as we tried to find a way to understand our feelings for one another, the distance between us, our cultural differences and the friend's long time vows and life as a monk, who was trying to see if he was ready or comfortable living in the world again. This apparently is not the first time this has happened on some level in her organization with a swami or bramachari. The other time the Western woman was thrown out of her Amritapuri ashram. Ammachi has power that is dangerous as well and can harm people, she asks us all to have faith in her, I had faith in her and the friend all along until Ammachi made a judgment and took harm on my life, she came to me personally, so I know it was her. My teacher though really, is Babaji who continues to sit with me through this along with Lord Jesus Christ until the time that I am pain free. As a member of this list and a strong support to Ammachi and her organization for over 5 years, I only share my experience. It does not need to mean anything to you. I still don't understand why she made the decision that she did, but I will say that she does not love all people equally, when you spend more time with her in India this is plainly seen. Others have gone through damaging experiences here in the US and in India. One woman in the US lost her husband of 32 years, he is an I AM Meditation teacher, because Ammachi told her husband to divorce her, and the woman her husband was encouraged to marry was also an Ammachi devotee who was also asked to divorce her spouse. These are confusing things. We should not be angry to hear these things have happened but question them to see if they are true.We should only want each of our brothers and sisters to remain safe in Ammachi's presence at all times. This is my prayer. As many others have been directly hurt by Ammachi and it will only continue. This shows more of a human in white clothing than a God who loves all equally. I ask all members on this list to pray for all of your brothers and sisters who have been hurt in Ammachi's mission, and I ask that you pray directly to Ammachi herself to please treat all with equality, love and care. I also pray to Ammachi, that if you are not aware of the mistakes you are making then it is time to take a personal retreat, and redirect your time and energies. I also pray that Ammachi teaches her children in her ashrams that it does not matter where we actually live, we are still in the world, and that one should not be afraid to " go back to the world " . As that is where true service is needed. Lord Jesus Christ teaches all to live lives of renunciation, while serving in the world. Our minds and hearts should be given to God in each thing that we do. So it does not matter where one lives as we are all truly one and we all serve our one God on this tiny planet Earth. I am sorry if I have upset you with these words. S ________________________________ stacysgarage <stacysgarage Ammachi Thu, December 31, 2009 5:36:31 AM Re: An Ear to the Ground Stacee, Your truth and experiences are not our own. You have a choice. We have our own choices. So why do you feel the need to come here and try to make us change our choices and see your own perceptions. That is not from a place of love. That is from a place of fear. I have no fear at all on this path with Amma. My faith in her is unshakeable. Your words mean nothing because they come from you, not from my own nor from Amma, and nor from the Swami's. This is a very personal relationship that exists WITHIN. It is beyond time, distance and body. Amma has shown this to me, but then again that probably means nothing to you because you have already decided to spend your time and energy to talk about negative things about Amma. Please respect our love for Amma here and either write your feelings in a personal journal for yourself or take it elsewhere with others that want to spend energy on this draining topic. Rather talk about loving and good things which are so much more beneficial and spread great energy than the one you are projecting out here. It is a big drain. I'm sure you're smart enough to understand what I mean. Who do you wan to be? Do you want to be someone that spreads love or fear? It's that simple. Jai Ma Ma Ma! Guest guest
To Stacee (and trolls in general).. OK, we get it. You've made your point. You used to like Amma and now you're disillusioned with her and disgusted with the Amritapuri organization. Take messages like this to the ex-Amma . We don't need to hear stories of disgruntled ex-devotees with axes to grind whose only message seems to be " I used to be an ardent devotee just like all of you Amma-holics, but now I've seen the light...hallelujah! " Also, this group is not a forum for Christian proselytizing. Keval

Guest guest
I'm glad you say things like this so newer members see how slanted it is, unfortunately. For example, the latest Satsang Nuggets video I purposefully edited out wording that was unnecessary. As the video is now, it ends something like " Surrender to the river, the river of existence. " The passage actually ends, " Surrender to the river, the river of existence, the river of Amma. " That's the clear difference between Nealu's pure spirituality based talks, and the talks of Big Swami, Sw. Ramakrishna, etc. that's more like an all-you-can-eat sugar buffet of indoctrination into " How great Amma is, Amma Amma Amma. " . I suspect Temba is the " Ma!Ma! man " mentioned in Chasing the Avatar book, LOL. Guest guest
All I can say that we are too short-sighted to be able to see the big picture. Again when we are faced with pain or going through tough challenges, this is a real test of faith, some may get angry and turn their backs at their guru for causing it. Life is full of ups and downs, it does not matter whether it happens with and around Amma or without, God is still part of it as everything IS God. It's natural for people to want to run away when things get difficult rather than face it. Even Amma's Swami's were not without difficult tests in the beginning. They chose to have faith and stick with it. In the end, they have become luminous and completely selfless with total acceptance offering themselves to serve us. When something does not go our way, do we go seek blame or do we say thanks and let it teach us something about ourselves? In fact all this happening is bringing stuff up to the surface, lack of faith, fears that Amma isn't what you expected Her to be, fear of the struggles and pain, fear that it won't get better, and so on. None of us is exempted from any karma nor any tests with pain. In order to become detached and disillusioned, we have to see the good in everything, have trust and faith, have love, and most important of all ACCEPT that everything is PRASAD. Again it also comes here to accepting and trusting that Amma knows better and knows more than we can understand and grasp. The mind ALWAYS wants answers instantly and won't be satisfied until it gets it. That causes disturbance. That's what I sense, the always wanting answers for everything that goes wrong. This reminds me of Prahlad. His father was a demon, but Prahlad was born with vervent devotion to Vishnu. His father conspired to kill him in so many ways, even sent to have him be put into a pot of boiling water. Did Prahlad spend his time and energy cursing Vishnu for being born into a demonic family that hated him? No, he chose to spend every moment praising Vishu always saying " Hari, Hari " . As a matter of fact it was his intense devotion that repelled the negativity and protected him from harm. He saw everything as Vishnu's play. What goes on in our lives says a lot about what is going on within and how much work we have to do. It's all a mirror. No one is to blame, not even Amma. All She is is a mirror, a reflection. If you want to experience more love, peace, devotion and trust, then those things need to be worked on and it WILL certainly come back to you in any shape and form if you believe in the good and trust that.
