Here is a link that speaks about Amrita's interest in Entrepreneurship and

Venture Capitalism. They explain it clearly. As it seems with India it is

usually in a small business format.

 

I will say that all of the information that was offered to this email group

amout the AIMS Charity and many of the other institutions that have been

developed on money that is donated for charity is true. That many have heard

Ammachi say bad words towards other people and many people have experienced the

hypocrisy in Amritapuri as far as Amma's teachings. There is much competition

there, anger and fighting for various reasons. There is a that

speaks of this and many other things. There are over four hundred people on this

group and one must really begin reading from three years ago to get the most

information and see the similar flow of events from people with different

backgrounds and cultures who do not know one another but have seen the truth of

Ammachi's lack of authenticity. One would need to see it to believe it. The

group is called examma.

 

Ammachi's ashram charges large fees for everything, to buy an apartment in

Amritapuri is $14,000US. If you read correctly Gurus are not supposed to ask for

money at all. Ammachi has large marketing booths and videos at all of her

programs. This is not of God or Love, but one Woman's agenda to help a very

small part of the population financially. Spiritually is not Big money and most

true Gurus are not usually known internationally but are living quietly and

peacefully in India and wait for the student to find them. Ammachi actively

recruits those to her as their Guru.

 

It would be hard to understand these things unless one actually sees these

inconsistencies themselves and learns from others who have been mistreated and

misdirected and who are speaking openly about their experiences. It took me a

long time to accept the truth. But I have unfortunately had a very horrible

experience directly with Ammachi myself that has taken me almost two years to

heal from. She may mean well, and she may feel that she is doing good by

offering her darshan and time in the world but her means of bring householders

and renunciates so close together is dangerous as I have had to learn

first-hand.

 

She does not love all people equally and does not treat all people equally and

many can attest to that. She is not the truth. She has broken more than one

marriage among US devotees, broken up many families from their spouses and

children that have chosen to follow her over the years.

 

This is not God's work.

 

I am sorry, may the truth be seen and may we know that God is truly within us.

We rarely find a human being on Earth that is of the utmost purity that they can

actually be called God. It has happened and it is rare, and those beings do not

work in the world as Ammachi does at all. They have empowered humanity to seek

God within themselves and to serve their neighbor, to have compassion for all of

humankind to love one another equally and to become peace on this Earth. I am

writing on the wrong list as each of you still see the magic that I once saw,

and it is hard to see the truth when one sees her briefly throughout the year.

But study the scriptures, as you will find the truth. If you can see the truth

from the scriptures being played out fully in Ammachi's life among all people

then this is what we need. But I tell you visit examma at and read for

yourselves the harms.

Again...why does one Teacher or Guru have to be wrong to make others

right? Because you have changed your focus and study, why spend so much

time trying to change the focus of others? I understand you are trying to

help us see your truth, but it is just not our truth..our experience. I

am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Amma and/or her people...I

do not believe that her way, her path is meant for everyone. Why are you

here trying to enlighten us? Be at peace within yourself and study with

your chosen teachers and be happy. There is good and bad in all

organizations, including organized religion. This is why it is wise to

stay with the teachings and not get caught up in the human drama all

around those teachings. As for marriages and families breaking up around

Amma and her teachings...did not the Apostles leave their loved ones to

follow Jesus? I have read that Buddha left his family to become

enlightened. This Spiritual Path is not an easy one to follow. When you

change from the core of your heart and soul, things around you change

too...even relationships. This is not Amma's fault. It's just the way

things are. I'll go back to my solitary study and be quiet now. Happy New
