Guest guest
Dear bluepearlight ~ this is the second time I have heard of the M.A. Center providing material for YouTube ... the other one was a thank you on someone's bhajan for the pics of Amma. I am so impressed that they are willing to do this to spread Amma's word and the spirit of her singing. Jai Ma! ~ Linda bluepearlight wrote: All the early ones are Sw. P's and I have 4 online talks to edit and post later. I didn't post any from tape #39 because it had been out of stock for so long I didn't bother getting it. And I don't have all of Swami A's talks because one was actually a duplicate of another and I think the ashram didn't have one (they had sent me most of Swami A's talks to do the conversions, and were returned once I was done). I have some archived Dayamrita and Sw. RK talks that may post once I'm done with the A series. But that was back in the day of dial-up streaming, so the quality won't be as good. Guest guest
The ashram didn't provide them for the videos, they provided them for digital conversion to eventually offer as CD and downloads. At the time they were planning on and had gotten Amma's ok to use a service called Burn Lounge, back in '07, which eventually went out of business due to FTC lawsuits regarding pyramid schemes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BurnLounge The tapes were edited for clarity, and as such lost some of the natural analog warmth, but gained consistent clarity as much as could be done. To my knowledge, they've yet to be offered for sale. I know when they offered CD's of retreat talks, on tour, they were overpriced at $10 per CD and probably didn't sell well.
