Guest guest
There is wisdom within us, but we are seldom able to put it into practice. When a doctor made a house visit, he was offered a Coca-Cola and coconut water to drink. He chose the Coca-Cola and not the fresh coconut water. He knew that coconut water is the best thing for thirst and that Coca-Cola is bad for the body. But Coca-Cola has become fashionable, so he ignored the coconut water. Likewise, even though we have knowledge, it is not reflected in our actions. We have to turn our knowledge into action, because only then will it be of any benefit. ~ pg 199, " Lead Us to Purity " A Selection of Sri Mata Amritanandanayi's Speeches 1990-1999
