Dear temba ~ no one other than Amma could cause these great things to

happen. Will you be working on building more homes on the reservation once the

weather warms again? It seems to me there must be others in need, and other

reservations too.

 

When I was moving to Silver City, New Mexico, we passed a lot of

reservations. I felt so sad ... people living in nothing more than shacks or

shanty

trailers. I thought: is this what our government, our Bureau of Indian

Affairs, has done for these people. Some were better, but they were too few and

mostly being used as tourist attractions.
