Guest guest
Alot of houses up that way are like that, so it didn't surprise me. This Tibetan Buddhist place is the same look in the same area: http://www.tara.org/visit-us/maryland-temple/ It was bought from a former US Congressman if I recall, by a group of newagers-turned Buddhists in the late 90's. The American woman was named a tulku by the same leader that named Steven Seagal a tulku (reincarnated Buddha). I could tell then that they were heavily into New Age and that the grounds weren't being kept up while tons of money was spent on building stupas and other extraneous things. Years later I was proven right when a book came out about Jetsuma, telling of monks/nuns having affairs, of Jetsuma herself taking a $150K annual salary and having a lesbian affair with her gym trainer. At least she admitted defeat by cooperating with that book's author.
