Guest guest
This is a video that shows a simple biogas setup in Pune, India using food scraps instead of manure waste to produce usable gas for cooking. There's many other videos on the subject on YT, especially homemade units. I'm guessing Amma hasn't changed the human sewage problem because of cost, that she'd rather feed more people with the money. I'm wondering how successful the recent interest in convincing her will be. Below is a reposting of the topic a couple years ago on the free speech zone list from Jan '06: Re: Bad behavior 2 What is all of this actually saying? Who is responsible for letting this happen in the ashram if Amma is not? Surely she cannot just make everybody do everything that needs to be done? And she cannot sit and supervise by looking over everyone's shoulder at every minute in person. Following the tsunami, I remember reading that the western devotees were the ones who finally had to go and clean the latrines in the camps because nobody else had bothered to do this, nor would they. So what about sewage? Maybe it is simply not practical to build at the ashram for reasons that are not apparent. P. ammachi_free_speech_zone , " E.
