I didn't stay for devi bhava.. was there only for the first day of the program (July 7th).. arrived in New York a day before Amma so I could see the Blue Jays v. Yankees game at the new Yankee Stadium.. Jays won!!! I really like Amma's NYC program, as you are right in the middle of the action...bus, subway or train, and you're right there in midtown Manhattan, across the street from Penn Station/Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building is only a few blocks away! At most of the other tour stops (with the possible exception of Iowa; have never been there) you don't get a feel for the town, being in some generic hotel ballroom way out in the car-addicted suburban sprawl. Once you've seen one Sheraton or Marriott out in the burbs you've seen 'em all! At least the Toronto program site is fairly accessible by public transit, though the bus/subway ride from downtown will take an hour and change and cost two fares.
