Dear Amarnath ~ thank you for posting this. Even now it brought tears to my

eyes ... seeing and hearing all the different musicians, with their

different styles, using their creative uniqueness to create something so

beautiful and needed. It was odd seeing people who are no longer with us, like

Michael, but he will go on through this and through all his music. What a

blessing this marvelous moment in time and space has created for us. I saved it

so I can go and hear it whenever I want.

Dear Amma Family:

I want to share a part of my recent journey with the group. I recently had

a total knee replacement surgery (right knee). I spent nearly a month in a

rehab facility, and even now that I am home again, this particular journey

is not over. I was blessed by many lessons, especially at the rehab center,

which, at the time I was not always thankful for. A big one was waiting my

turn when I put on the nurse call button ... to realize that there were

others worse off than I. This and other things that happened also called

forth compassion and patience ... also thankfulness for a smile here, a kind

word there, and the awareness that, just in these simple ways, I could

brighten another's day.

I was so happy when I got back home and could read the digests again. And

it helped me a great deal, when I was in the rehab center, and now as well,

to know that my name is on the prayer list and I was receiving all those

blessings.
