The Mata was addressing a Sathsangh of devotees in connection with eighth Brahmasthana Mahotsavam held at Amritanandamayi Math, near Mananthavadi, on Wednesday. She said though the human body had its own limitations, it could reach infinity of the universe through spirituality given by God. God has bestowed the quality of perfection only on human beings, she said adding that a good society was the need of the hour; a society of virtues. The Mata and her disciples were received with Poornakumbham on Tuesday night at the Math. Mata Amritanandmayi distributed Vidhyamrutham scholarships to 1,000 students and financial aid to the 75 Amrita Self-Help Groups in the district. As a part of the Mahotsavam, Sree Lalitha Sahasranama Archana ,Amrita Yoga Dhyanam and Bhakthigana Sudha were held under the patronage of the Mata. Rahu dhosha nivarana Puja, sanidhosha nivarana puja, udayasthamana puja and maha Ganapathi Homam will be held at the Math on Thursday, Akshayamrutha Chaithanya, chief of the Math, said.
