There is a situation I need to let go of, and it is so hard because it involves a friend, but to continue on the path at this time would be self-destructive. I have always been inclined to hang in there until there is absolutely no hope at all (which usually means something really really bad has taken place, or the person has kicked me out of his/her life). Setting boundaries is very hard for me, and I know I must have sound boundaries for my spiritual practice if I am going to have the kind of spiritual compassion and openness of which you speak. Guest guest Posted March 3, 2009 Report Share Posted March 3, 2009 beloved this is something that your brother can relate to very well,which is what has given him the wisdom.the GURU in the form of the pain has been a very intimate friend. it is all to bring us closer to HER.and know that when we courageously let go, we are also serving the other person involved with our highest good.so this can actually become a celebration!we breathe in and we let go of a breath as well.this is how life flows.the pain is caused when we hold on to that breath(person).we must let the breath(person)go to live and stay in the flow.and beloved,no breath(person0wants to be imprisoned in our minds. LIFE is the servant of servants and it takes care of all the LIVING.we have nothing to fear when AMMA is near and SHE is always near,but we must have faith in THAT.love again.
