Dear Amarnath ~ just reading the account at the link below brought a full

heart and tears of joy. Also, I agree with your comment. Greed, now fed by

existing greed (as with the people who already have the money), or new greed

based on a perception and reality of lack, has definitely caused the crisis.

However, it is harder for me to feel disturbed by those who, perhaps don't do

all

they should be doing in their jobs, out of a very real fear that their jobs

might go away. My stepbrother lost his job severeral months ago. I think when

it first happened, he thought it was just him. I hope he can at least know

now that this is structural, endemic, and that he is only one of many

thousands. My sister is an Amma devote, and she and Randi are doing their best

to be

positive. But I worry what will happend when his unemployment runds out. They

could very well loose the house and everything they have built as their

hearth and home across decades.

 

And I am sad to say that this is the first time I have felt lucky that I am

too sick to work, which feels like a terrible thing to admit. If I lost my

SSDI, I would be on the street very quickly. Obama spoke very upbeat at his

latest press conference, and I am so glad that he did because I think he has a

great gift to verbilize compassionately the hard times that so many are going

through. He is real ... he says it can't be fixed in a day, and I feel how

much that pains him. I know he would like to wave a magic wand and put

everything right. I do trust that he will do all that is in his power to make

this

happen in the longrun.

 

And I have to say, while listening to that speech, I could now understand

how Temba could ball the President ... BARAK OBAMMA. Obamama does exemplify many

of the values Amma teaches, and who knows what She may be doing behind the

scenes .... Jai Mata Ma!!! ~ Linda

I think, Amma has said that greed is the main cause of all problems in

world. If every banker and business man was unselfish like this

fellow, would we have the economic disaster we have now and all the

other problems rooted in greed?
