Guest guest
Has anyone come across Prabhu Misham online? it's one of my favorite Shiva bhajans. i wish they had a recording of the wonderful rendition by the young man (is his name Deepak? he also plays tablas) at the MA Center. He sings it, and everything for that matter, so deeply. Guest guest
Max, You are so right. It is blissful to listen to Deepak sing Prabhu Misham every time. He truly brings the spirit of Shiva in this bhajan. I only wish he had performed the entire version last Saturday, for some reason, he stopped short. Did he sing it again Sunday night? I couldn't stay for the 2nd session after 11pm. I don't know if this bhajan is available online, but it is on " 1988 US Tour " tapes (Vol 1). It is lovely to hear Amma's young voice on this one, 18 minutes of pure sweetness. The CD is available at TheAmmaShop. http://www.theammashop.org/awt88d1.html Namah Shivaya, -Gopinath --- On Tue, 2/24/09, Max Dashu <maxdashu wrote: Max Dashu <maxdashu Re: Happy MahaSivaratri !
