Something i heard from a friend who had just attended a Crow Sweat Lodge

ceremony in Montana the day before the inauguration. . . This is the

correspondence from her. . .

 

 

.. . . " Here's something I learned in the sweat. The Montana Crow

Agencyadopted Obama into their family when Barack was in Montana this

pastsummer by Hartford and Mary Black Eagle, His native name, Awe Kooda

Bilaxpak Kuuxshish, translates into " One Who Helps People Throughout

The Land. "

 

That's why it was great to see the Crow Agency folks atthe very

beginning of the Inauguration Parade, right behind Barack'shigh school

bands from Hawaii and Chicago.

 

For me, who understood the significance of the placement, it was another

indication of just how much Obama gets things. " . . .
