Guest guest
>>even Krishna eventually had to go with one side or the other and even though Arjuna wanted to remain neutral Krishna reminded Arjuna of his responsibilities as a warrior<< Lord Krishna gave an oppurtunity to Duryodhana and Yudhistrar to choose either between him or the Lord Krishnas military might,as the Lord was a Royal King himself,in his eighth avataram of Maha Vishnu.Unlike tossing of coins to decide who will ask from Lord Krishna,it was left to the Lord to ask either Duryodhana or Yudhistrar. So,Lord told both of them after his sleep, when he gets up,the first person he sees will get the oppurtunity to ask.It so happened, the clever startegist Duryodhana sat strategically,so that,as soon as Lord Krishna woke up,his eyes fell on Duryodhana.Promptly Lord Krishna asked him, what he wants.Duryodhana replied he wanted Lord Krishna Military Might.Yudhistrar got the Lord himself,to be on the Pandava sides. As Arjuna,he was overwhelmed by agyaanam or attachment, for his gurus-relatives-friends-citizens..etc that he lost his nerve momentarily.Thats when Lord Krishna gives his Gita-upanishad or the celestial song to Arjuna,to motivate and see things with spiritual clarity, and fight for his sva-dharma....rest is history...Pandavas triumph,as they win the LOrds Grace..just as how we all trying to win Ammas Grace in our lives...
