Guest guest
Aum Namah Shivaya, Greetings Temba! Wishing you a safe and wonderful journey to the reservation. We have a LOT of stuff to send to Pine Ridge and perhaps for your next trip we can bring it up to Fairfield and you can take it? We have a basement filled with donations to send along. Don't worry about the turkeys (LOL in more ways than one!)Your kind heart speaks volumes about your mission. I am sure they will appreciate the turkeys. Have no worries about what anyone says. The Native Americans are very respectful of the earth and life so when they eat meat, they know where it came from and send blessings to the earth for the sacrifice of the animal's life. Everything in nature is a blessing to them. I hope that their culture will not ever fade away as at the core, it is truly what Amma also teaches. LAKOTA PRAYER Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me. I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people. Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength, not to be superior to my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy - myself. Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes, so when life fades, as the fading sunset, my spirit will come to you without shame. Guest guest
beloved sister adrianne and darling daughter of AMMA.thankyou and you were right so many sad thankyou, but it was me who should have been saying it the most.i am so grateful to AMMA for giving this heart the needed energy to do this stuff. it is amazing to me to see how people who live in utter poverty use the gift of gratitude to sustain their spirits.when the BIG GRANDMA prayed ,she prayed for all the children of the world, not just hers.when we left ,i could feel a sadness in the air from all the native's. i also went and saw the land that we will build eco-domes on this spriing.the land is beautiful!the trailer of the family is filled with black mold(one of the causes of death on the res).the have know running water.we tried to fix it while we were there, but we could not.AMMA's grace allowed us to get their electric back on and to get propane for them,so they dont freeze. i am concerned because they have two little girls, one who is two and the other four.they are an orphaned family.the oldest is 24.she takes care of four younger ones.now that i have been in their lives for close to a 9 months now, they trust me.they are AMMAs children.they live in conditions of thirld world poverty, but they do not complain.i speak to them 3 to five times a weak.it was a AMMA joy to spend christmas with them and the rest of AMMA'S Lakota children..........love you.
