Guest guest
What Srinivas and Sureshbalaraman are posting has nothing to do with Amma's teachings or Sanatana Dharma as Amma Teaches it. Amma's Sanatana Dharma is Love, Compassion, and Selfless-service; And not studying scripture and getting lost in its complexities. Amma is not teaching Hinduism; and not interested in any conversions. We should change our group's status from Hinduism to Universal Spirituality, which is what Amma is teaching us. Otherwise, we'll continue to get Hindu fundamentalist visitors like just now. What Amma has told us is that it is the Essence of Love, Compassion and Selfless-service that is the root of all true religions; but somehow this gets lost; and turns into fundamentalism which thrives on divisiveness, fear, hatred and violence. And so, as we look at the world, we see in religion, in politics, and even economics, the extremists who preach ideologies of divisiveness, fear, hatred and war. On the other side there are those who inspire us to HOPE, LOVE, COMPASSION, SELFLESS-SERVICE; sharing and caring. All of us are aware to one degree or another of the sad history of all mankind, all religions( including Hinduism ); no race, no religion is exempt from human folly. Amma does not want us to get fixated on any of the foolishness prevalent in this illusory world. Amma's message is very simple: " Awaken Children " via Love, Compassion, Selfless-service. My message to our new visitors is this: Read Amma's teachings in 9 volumes of " Awaken Children " Also, go to Amritapuri, get a hug, and ask Amma about what you want. Leave us alone, we are not interested in your teachings. One of you has a all your own; whoever wants can go and read your teachings there. My message to our moderator Keval: Kick them out if they continue to spew hatred and fundamentalism. My message to anyone who wants a free Gita: Google " free onine Bhagavad Gita " Amma Bless, amarnath
Guest guest
Amarnath, >>What Srinivas and Suresh Balaraman are posting has nothing to do with Amma's teachings or Sanatana Dharma as Amma Teaches it. Amma's Sanatana Dharma is Love, Compassion, and Selfless-service; And not studying scripture and getting lost in its complexities.<< I think you have every right to express your views & opinions. On the one hand you are writing about Amma's mental thinking based on your perception, experiance and love for our beloved Amma about " not studying scriptures and getting lost in its complexities " and soon mention us to read Awaken Children written & published by Amma Org Publication.ROFL.These are Amma's scriptures as well as Sanathana Dharma teachings, passed down in its traditional ways. Amma is a Saint from Vedic root of Sanathana Dharma. She is a Indian Citizen only. Not some kind of " Universal Citizen " having a special passport to jet in & jet out of countries. All of us in the universe love her. Amma sports the " Chandanam " Pottu as well " Kumkuma " Tilakam on her forehead. She sports as old vedic tradition " Rudrakasham " machined to modern designs in her wrists with either " Jade " or " Maragatham " for Budhan propitiation. As per Vedic Astrology. She sports a dazzling array of Sari's adorned & draped to give us holiness in personification, and sings like " Meera Bhai " invoking Bhakthi for the Lord's of Sanathana Dharma. Gives discourse in her mother tongue " Malayalam " .(Unique thing about M A L A Y A L A M is,even if you read from right to left its the same as left to right,LOL ) Just becoz you guys having been posting and interacting for a long time here, please just don't jump into conclusion's about other peoples bhakthi. Each one perceives, comprehends, bhakthi and love for Amma,in their own personal way. So,stop complaining. Shri Amma Sharanam Mama !! Shri Hari Sharanam Mama !! Om Na Ma Shi Va Ya !! sb Ammachi , " amarnath " <anatol_zinc wrote: > > > What Srinivas and Sureshbalaraman are posting has nothing to do > with Amma's teachings or Sanatana Dharma as Amma Teaches it. > > Amma's Sanatana Dharma is Love, Compassion, and Selfless-service; > And not studying scripture and getting lost in its complexities. > > Amma is not teaching Hinduism; and not interested in any conversions. > We should change our group's status from Hinduism > to Universal Spirituality, which is what Amma is teaching us. > Otherwise, we'll continue to get Hindu fundamentalist visitors like > just now. > > What Amma has told us is that it is > the Essence of Love, Compassion and Selfless-service > that is the root of all true religions; > but somehow this gets lost; > and turns into fundamentalism > which thrives on divisiveness, fear, hatred and violence. > > And so, as we look at the world, we see in religion, in politics, > and even economics, the extremists > who preach ideologies of divisiveness, fear, hatred and war. > > On the other side there are those who inspire us > to HOPE, LOVE, COMPASSION, SELFLESS-SERVICE; > sharing and caring. > > All of us are aware to one degree or another of the sad history > of all mankind, all religions( including Hinduism ); > no race, no religion is exempt from human folly. > > Amma does not want us to get fixated on any of the foolishness > prevalent in this illusory world.
