Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, This is a group dedicated to the Mother of Immortal Bliss who embraces all children regardless of race or religion. Amma has never and would never speak so hatefully about other religions. To do so is to deny the love which flows from Her like a river, to deny Her unfathomable knowledge of the Truth which underlies all religions, and to profoundly disrespect Her teachings. Remember that Amma has been honored with the James Parks Morton Interfaith Award and spoke compellingly at that time about understanding and collaboration between religions. She said, " The essence of all religions is in being compassionate to others. " http://www.amma.org/amma/international-forum/icny2006.html I would be very sad if a newcomer to this group happened to read some recent posts and draw erroneous conclusions about the attitude of Amma's children towards Islam and Christianity. As a sister in Amma, I am asking you to please not post messages of intolerance in this online satsang. Thank you. Guest guest
when this energy comes at this group consciousness,it is up to people who are AWARE to speak.this will actually turn it into a DIVINE lesson for all of us.this group just reflects the current state of the world.we must be courageous and firm with our love. love is not this romanticized thing that we spiritual folks have made it to be.COMPASSION IS ALL POWERFUL!IT IS LIKE WATER.WATER IS SO SOFT,BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT CAN NOT BE STOPPED! we must be willing to be students always ,however ,once truth has become a part of your living experience , we are then responsible to speak and live in the AWARENESS of what HER grace has revealed to us. if we dont speak out ,then we are not LOVING THE TEACHINGS OF AMMA at all.to love AMMA is to apply the teachings when faced with things that are not aligned with HER teachings.it is not to become self-rightous ,but to TRUST IN THE SELF and the PRINCIPLES THAT PERVADE LOVE....... what you have done is beautiful to stand in the AWARENESS of OUR GURU'S TEACHINGS AND THE TEACHINGS OF ALL THE GREAT MASTERS.to speak on behalf of the new-comer is how we stay INNOCENT ourselves.we must also at the same time realize that this is the best way we can also give love to the person,or persons, that are sharing things that are not in tune with the Dharma of DIVINE LOVE. AMMA is with you beloved sister and it is HER grace that has given you the compassion and courage to speak.AMMA,AMMA,AMMA,AMMA,AMMA,AMMA,AMMA,AMMA,AMMA,AMMA,AMMA....................\ ...... Guest guest
Namaste dear Pranada and Temba. . .thanks for you speaking on this subject. . .both of your voices are clear and rooted in Amma's teachings . . .I was just watching a wonderful video called: Ethics and the World Crisis, a Dialogue with the Dalai Lama and what you wrote Temba sounds like what so many are knowing and speaking these days. . . As far as the comment. . .i am most stupid . . .and if compassion is naive. .. .i reach out with both arms toward it and ask for it to have a constant home within. . .for i believe through Amma's compassion, tolerance, and non-violent teachings which some might view as stupid is all we have left. .. . If only we can become weak and small enough that She and her teachings can flow through. . . Have noticed for the last couple of months. . . when there have been negative comments posted on the web they have come from new members. . .or could it be old members that have been asked to not post material that is not congruent with Amma's teachings?. . .The comments always come in as one liners and do not show the courtsey of introduction or honor to Amma. . ..there is a pattern here and an energetic print that flows from the ones that are asked to not make trash comments, i believe. . . .the names can change but the energetic flow is linked from the source it flows from. . . ..I trul am most stupid. . . but the one thing i trust about myself is the ability to feel the energetic. . . this is the same energetic print. . . Blesssings to you brother and please know you are welcome in the Circle of Amma's embrace as well as the Ammachi circle that honors Her. . .surely your heart is bruised from the senseless violence and we also feel the sadness. . ..may you know Amma's light and comfort dear one. . . Guest guest
You should not be scared of arguments and facts and criticism. You should like more those who criticize based on facts or call it expressing opinions based on facts.. it will improve your faith and understanding better and help you to build a strong perspective.. If you run away from it.. you will be in 'confused state' for ever.. --- On Mon, 12/8/08, marci mattes <ammarci108 wrote: marci mattes <ammarci108 Re: Compassion is the essence of all religions Ammachi Monday, December 8, 2008, 4:43 AM Namaste dear Pranada and Temba. . .thanks for you speaking on this subject. . .both of your voices are clear and rooted in Amma's teachings . . .I was just watching a wonderful video called: Ethics and the World Crisis, a Dialogue with the Dalai Lama and what you wrote Temba sounds like what so many are knowing and speaking these days. . .
