For those who wanted to donate or help out..check your closets! I have

been clearing out my closets and have found countless perfectly good

coats, some blankets and more. Donations of these type are especially

needed at Pine Ridge and surrounding reservations. You can send

donations directly to Pine Ridge Reservation, Pine Ridge, SD or to the

Native American Heritage Association, 410 Sheridan Lake Rd, Rapid City,

SD 57702. You will receive a tax receipt back from them that is quite

generous. My mother has been donating to these organizations for years.

So I am gathering any sweatshirts, toys, etc-they will take anything.

They also are requesting HEATERS as most homes have NO HEAT. Can you

even imagine this? Many children have no SHOES to wear in the winter

time and miss school because of this.
