Dear Keval ~ you could be right. There was nothing to indicate that this was

or was not an actual taped event. I do believe that the earliest video tapes

of Amma are some from the early days when She was still doing Kali Bhava, and

perhaps a couple of Krishna Bhava. I have seen one of the Kali tapes; it was

very short and I don't recall where I saw it. " River of Love " is surely

something every devotee of Amma should experience. I cried, laughed, and was

transported to all sorts of feelings of joy and bliss. Jai Jai Ma

re-enactment. I believe it is taken from " River of Love " , a documentary of

Amma's life,

using actors to stand in for the devotees, Amma's family and even Amma

herself as a young girl.

Namah Shivaya, Linda,

Yes, the earliest footage dates to 1983, I believe, and can be found in the

video " Vintage Scenes " . This does include some breathtaking Krishna Bhava

and Kali Bhava footage. The video is without sound, and played against a

background of Amma's bhajans - much of the Krishna Bhava footage is set to

" Sri Krishna Saranam Mama " , and the Kali Bhava is set to " Kamesha Vamakshi "

(also known as " Sakti Mahadevi " ). My hair still just about stands on end

when I hear " Sri Krishna Saranam Mama " . :)

I'm pretty sure Keval is right about the YouTube clip being part of the

" River of Love " video, though I don't own that video and couldn't say

definitively.
