Dear marci ~ I identified with so much of what you said, and by the end of

your post, tears were streaming down my face. We have dealt with very similar

situations. I very much appreciate the fact that you speak from a multi-level

perspective, not just as a person, but in terms of a wholistic (or

Tao-centered) perspective.

I have also read the " Course in Miracles, " and have been very affected by

its ... teach what you want to learn ... call to action. I tell people, not

here, but in general, that the roots and branches of my spirituality tree are

many and diverse. To me they do not contradict one another, but enhance and

echo.

 

And you are right, there has been no negativity to the discussion, only a

feeling of exuberant joy along with some deep self-reflection. As Keval noted,

there has been nothing that is antithetical to the purpose of this group. I'm

glad because, as you well know, the whole issue of feeling silenced, for any

reason, is fairly significant for people who have been abused, in a personal

way, or in a cultural way (by which I mean that the dominant culture in the

US has too often silenced minorities, another reason why Obama's election is

The exchange yesterday was also interesting for there seemed to be ones

that thought the responses to Obama was about duality and politics and

others that thought it was about aligning with the circle (for that has

consistently been Obama and Amma's message). . . .but as i thought about

it i really do not know the place that anyone was responding from. .

..only myself. . . .

i see more all the time that i only understood at whatever depth i

usually think about life in general.. . .The Course of MIracles says we

speak about the things that we are in the process of learning not the

things we know. . .and i am in the process of learning what i have

projected on Obama...
