Dear Pranada ~ when I returned to the digest, there was an even worse

conflict, and just by ceasing involvement, it stopped. You have made very valid

points here, and I essentially agree with you, so I will stop trying to defend

the discussion as well as take no more part in it. Yes, we can talk of our

lives, our loves, our cares, in the context of Amma, but let's let that be it.

from all walks of life, all parts of the world, all political persuasions. I

do not think that it is respecting Amma's teachings if we decry the beliefs

of others.

I have found myself increasingly uncomfortable with the overtly partisan

tone on this list. I do not wish to deny anyone their joy and celebration,

but I think that it begins to be a question not of whether the topic is

mundane, but whether we are truly cultivating a spirit of inclusion and

welcoming in this list by continuing to discuss it in a way that clearly

takes sides.

dear pranada.AMMA says that SHE is most pleased when SHE sees HER children

practicing HER teachings.for one of AMMA birthday celebrations SHE said that to

truly worship HER feet is to serve the poor and needy.

we all gave our energy to going abck and forth with this stuff ,but at the

same time, when someone makes a request for us to unite in a service towards the

poor and needy, very few say anything! in the time that we share our opinions

abougt this.we could be making a phone call and trying to save a life, which i am

sure some are doing.

which one of us can say that we are practicing AMMAs teachings?who will dare

declare that they are living such as this.i all the service that SHE allows me

to do.this child still has mucg growing to do.

am i practcing AMMAS teachings is the question that i should be asking?now

watch this.there are 900 plus members on this group.i need help serving the

POOREST PLACE IN THE COUNTRY.

lets see what happens.i need help working with the Lakota native americans

who are currently living in conditions of THIRD WORLD POVERTY!lets see who will

respond!..................AMMA says for at least ONE DAY,lets alll serve the

poor and needy..THIS IS OUR GURUS DREAM AND TEACHINGS.............
