Dear Amarnath ~ thank you so much. Even though I couldn't understand a word,

except of course, the shot of Amma coming down the stairs into the hall and

everyone saying Ma, Ma, Ma ... I loved seeing the video so much. It has been so

long since I have seen Amma that even seeing Her like this makes my heart sing.

I gather you live in Boston or somewhere in Mass. now.

Pity you did not make it there for Summer 2008. It was Guru Purnima

time when Amma came to Boston this year.

Maybe next year .....

Jai Ma!

Dear menoj ~ yes, I live about an hour out of Boston, but unfortunately it was

in late September. For most of the month of August I was in the anquished

position of packing everything up so my husband could come and get me and then

move me to Lowell, MA. The road trip took nearly a month because I was so sick,

we'd have one day on the road, then I'd have to have 2 nights in a hotel to

recoup enough for the next day''s leg of the trip.

Truly, it felt like a pilgrimage.

I have already talked to the local satsang coordinator who understands very well

how sick I have become. She has lupus, which is also a potentially disabling

condition. She said I'd be welcome at the satsang whenever I felt strong enough

to make it. And to a great deal she allayed my fears about the big crowds and

how I would deal with seeing Amma. I know my hubby will take me to the satsang

and to see Amma.

My husband and I (we never got divorced) reunited after 29 years, and then, as I

said, he came to get me. He is a wonderful man but doesn't share my deep

feelings of spirituality. He says he doesn't believe in God, and yet the

photographs he takes are some of the most spiritual art I've ever seen. But

since he is determined to be agnostic, I am very thankful that he would help me

get to be with Amma. Jai Jai Mata Ma ~ Linda
