Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, Dear Linda, Integrated Amrita Meditation was created by Amma and is taught for free by instructors whom She has authorized. It is available at all retreats during Her tour, and at various locations all over the world throughout the year. It's a half-hour practice that is quite powerful and effective despite its apparent simplicity. I can't recommend it highly enough. I have gone to some of Amma's Swamis to ask them about my sadhana and some of the experiences and obstacles I perceived, and they have recommended IAM as a very effective way to clear out the obstacles, increase awareness, and allow energy to flow freely. The course to learn the technique takes about eight hours, which can be done all in a single day or broken up into two-hour sessions. You can find more out at http://amma.org/events/iam.html - the schedule there may not be comprehensive, as I know (for example) that IAM classes are planned at the Canadian Amma Centre in Halton Hills, Ontario on November 9. If you contact an IAM instructor in your area, they can keep you up to date on local opportunities.
