Guest guest
These are from : Ammachi- Jai Jai Janani @ by NandiniJTNote: […] are my adds; also if you only have dial-up, like I did for years, this is for you. Children, the sweetness of devotion is something unique. Devotion is actually discrimination( viveka ) between the eternal[ absolute ] and the transitory[ relative ]. The actions we perform with awareness of what is everlasting and what is perishable is devotion. Faith strengthens our feeble minds. If we have faith, we don't cry for illusory things. My children, you should pray with love and devotion. Your hearts should melt as you pray. Your prayer to God should be, " Make me love You and let me forget everything else! " Don't forget God's name wherever you go! Only of we purify our heart through japa we can install God inside. If we cannot make our minds pure, everything is a waste. Don't think we can get peace without making our minds and our actions pure. If you really love God, you must stop your fault finding. God will never dwell in a fault finding heart. No amount of prayer will bear fruit if it is done while harming or speaking ill of others. Get rid of any arrogance and be humble. Even if there is some error on the part of others, be forgiving to the utmost extent. These are different aspect of prayer. Those who love God know no sorrow. There is only Bliss. No amount of japa and meditation will bear fruit without Love. When the Love for God becomes firm, all the bad tendencies in us will fall away automatically. Is not God all pervading? If not, He is not God. Purify your heart. See God in everything and love all beings. You don't have to do anything else. God is deep within us. He dwells there as pure and innocent Love. God alone is eternal. Our life's goal is to attain Him. You should not forget this. My children, we should surrender our mind to God. Those who perform actions with their mind surrendered to the Supreme do not need to fear. When we surrender something the mind is attached to, it is the same as surrendering the mind. Devotion which is based on real spiritual principles is a sadhana[ spiritual practice ]. But devotion prompted by desire cannot be considered a sadhana[ spiritual practice ]. Immersed in illusion, we confuse " what is " with " what is not " and " what is not " with " what truly is. " As heat is the nature of fire and coolness the nature of water, Self-Awareness is the nature, the responsibility, of every human being. One should understand that the Supreme Lord is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. One should proceed with the sole aim of realizing God. There should be no delusion concerning the goal of life. If your aim is Self-Realization, you don't think about anything else. Pure Love wants nothing else but the emptying of your mind from all its fears and the shedding of all your masks. It exposes the Self as it is. Love sustains everything. Love is the basis of the Universe. If there were no Love, no creation could take place. The real source of that Love is God. You have to be convinced that God alone is real and then remember Him[ Her, It ] constantly. Children, go directly to the Source of Love and drink to your heart's content from that Ocean. God is the Source, the true center, of our life and existence. Remember, Mother is always with you. Love each other, serve others selflessly, and never forget to do your spiritual practices.
