Guest guest
Dear Max and Marci and All ~ I'm not sure how ... actually I just tried both, and the first was the Amritapuri site, and the second was the satsang on YouTube. I'm scratching my head and feeling like something is afoot here besides us mortals. Because all of a sudden, off to the side, I saw something about Durga, and thinking marci, that you would like it, I clicked on it and got this marvelous Durga song, and the animated painted images that went with it, one transforming into another, were incredible. What magic and mystery and joy can be created by those who are divinely inspired, and also have the bhava of the Goddess and the knowledge of internet multi-media. _ & feature=related_(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96KAhljlqbE & feature=related) .....and here is another one from the same site ... and there are more, many about Durga and showing the before, during and after of the great battle with Ego. This one that is next is called the Durga Devi Sthuti. Oh, it gives me chills, especially when they sing " Narayani Namo Stute " . _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UlC7c7VUxA & feature=related_ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UlC7c7VUxA & feature=related) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UlC7c7VUxA & feature=related) Oh! There are many more, and all wonderful. Enjoy! Hugs and Pranams to all ~ Linda P.S. And thanks so much for including the words, both the transliteration ... so beautiful. Guest guest
My all-time favorite bhajan, which they rarely seem to do, is Anpiyannamba. It's on World Tour Vol II. Another oldie that i have never heard performed live is Vandikyunnen, from Vol I (!). I heard it first on a defunct video of bhajans at Amritpuri from '89 or so, with Amma singing during Navaratri. WWWOWWW! the words are deeply inspiring too. Don't know why they don't sing it at the MA Center...
