Guest guest
Dear marci ~ there are movies. The " Ramayana, " originally made for Indian Public TV by the late but prolific Ramanand Sagar, is incredible. Because it was, in a sense, a series, it is a bit spendy, but now that they can put it on cd instead of vhs, it has come down in price. My sister had the original vhs tapes, and we would sometimes watch them together ... incredible ... you felt like Ram had stepped out of the pages of history and into your living room. The version at Amazon.com is $74 (not sure if that is new or used). Eventually, I'm going to get it because ... well I just want to watch it again. I never did see the whole series, but just the few I watched were incredible. If the link below doesn't work, try the longer one. If that doesn't work, google Amazon and search under Ramanand Sagar. You can also google him on the net and it will bring up the production company he ran (he died in 2005). They made many spiritual movies and some secular ones as well. You can also get the Chandi Path at Amazon. From time to time, when I have the energy, I will post something from the Chandi ... don't want it to be too long, but there are nuggets of the story that can be shared.
