Guest guest
Dear marci ~ what you wrote encapsulates, for me at least, very well, what Amma is and is about. And I agree with you about the union of soul and spirit. It makes me think of Shiva/Shakti. Shakti dances on Shiva so he will wake up and dance too Leela is also a dance, and when we wake up, then we can dance in pull participation with the Wholeness we are, without being caught in the illusion of who is doing the dancing, how they are dancing, and all that. We come to a place where we can also be the dance. marci wrote: ....This reminded me of Amma's story about the great musician that she asked how he came to play so beautifully. It goes something like this: First, i spent years learning everything about my instrument and practice it till i mastered it. Then spent many more years learning everything about the music, its theory, its scope, its history, etc. . . and studied until i mastered that. Then next i just opened my heart and played. . . **************New MapQuest Local shows what's happening at your destination. Dining, Movies, Events, News & more.
