Dear Temba ~ me, Linda, here. I peeked in at the Digest yesterday, as I do

now and then, to see what my AMMA friends are up to. I have missed

everyone...maybe a bit more about this later. CALEARTH is an amazing and

wonderful

project. I went to the site where you posted (or, I think it was you) pictures

from a recent building effort, and felt transformed by the beauty, grace, and

will to grow from Truth to Power ... empowering is the only way because it

gives the people the tools, not just the objects ... like give a man a

fish and he will eat for a day. Give him a fishing pole and he will eat

everyday. This is a bit simplistic, but I'm sure that most people have heard or

read it.

 

I also want to tell you that I have never forgotten your phone call. It was

a very difficult time in my life, and hearing your voice made me feel that

someone remembered. Thank you. I also really enjoyed the opportunity to see your

face and big smile. That alone could give enough light to power the el

ectricity in my new home. You are always you, straightforward, speaking from

the

heart, and working for Amma. Jai Jai MA
