From the POV of advaita( not-two ),

there is only the One-Self

which is free from all problems.

But, that is not what we experience;

this is because we identify with self( non-Self )

which is the creator of the world and all its problems.

Another name for self is mind_thoughts_ego

our individuality personality our story

The self is illusion because it is non-awareness

due to allowing oneSelf to be totally immersed lost absorbed

in thoughts feelings ideas politics business various agendas

our story or whatever

Whereas Self is nothing( no-thing ) but Awareness.

self = non-awareness = illusion

Self = Awareness

In order to find our way home to One_Self_Awareness

we need to learn to discriminate between the two

by separating the Self from the self

by noticing and acknowledging

whatever little intermittent experience of

stillness peace silence spaciousness

in our daily moment to moment life

by NOT taking things

whatever is happening in the world

good bad or in between

too seriously

by recognizing that this

stillness peace silence spaciousness

is the nature of Awareness

by noticing that mind-body-world and everything happening

occurs within Awareness

by noticing that when Awareness is not lost,

the world looks feels different

This Awareness is Peace,

the only everlasting infinite peace

in the present moment of no-time no-thoughts

Only from this Self_Awareness_Peace

can our intentions to create peace in the world

be free from faults

And yet, we should not wait

but have the best of intentions anyway

but being careful not to allow them to become agendas

that take us away from Self

So, the cliche " don't worry be happy "

is after all a font of great profound wisdom.

And it may have started with Jesus

when he said

that warrying won't help a bit.

Whatever you do,

stay as Self.

Thanks for posting this, so often enjoy the quotes you bring us.

This is a poem of Papaji that mirrors this entry. Also, really appreciated

the quote of Amma concerning the state of our times along with this entry.

Whatever is to come, there is the true self within that Amma is guiding us

to in order to withstand and remind us what is true. We are so blessed to

have Amma's guidance. Jai Ma!

You are the Unchangeable Awareness in which All activity takes place.

Always Rest in Peace.

You are Eternal Being, Unbounded and Undivided.

Just Keep Quite.

All is well.

Keep Quiet Here and Now.

You are Happiness.

You are Peace.

You are Freedom.

Do not entertain any notions that you are in trouble.

Be Kind to Yourself.

Open to your Heart and Simply Be.
