Amma on Drug use

On this topic, Amma in California remarked in an answer to a

devotee's question about marijuana use that it had No benefits, and

in fact, it burned off the ojas (subtle life force) in the brain.

(There was a previous series of posts on this)

 

The questioner than mentioned that they grew marijuana and sold it,

but then gave most of the proceeds to good causes and wondered if

this was worthwhile.

 

Amma's response was that the karma for raising and selling the pot

commercially was so bad that it didn't matter how much of the

proceeds was donated.

 

My personal experience over the years is that alcohol and drug use is

truly a tragedy, a major spiritual block and a cause for much

suffering. Sobriety and good health are naturally blissful.

 

I mention the above not to pick on any of us in particular, but as

hopefully, good advice.

 

I admire the spirit of Temba's posts, but alas, mine have not yet

risen to that level!

through GRACE ,the 'crap " of ones life can be turned into fertilizer.temba

wishes that no one had to suffer through drug usage.he feels the pain of the

user and the family effected by it.what we attempt to offer is HOPE for the

hopeless of which he is one.

temba's name means " to give hope to the hopeless " ,however without HER(AMMA)

he is nothing and has nothing and even further then that wants nothing,nothing

but HER that is.

drug addiction is a reality amongs millions,there is no need to keep staring

at the problem,that will keep the problem alive.lets stare at the solution,which

is love,compassion,understanding,acceptance,forgiveness,etc.there are many

recovering addicts amongs AMMA devotees that are in the closet for fear of being

judged.they appraoch me,because they know i will not judge them.there are

addicts likely reading these post,that are afraid of what people will think

about them if they reveal that they have the disease of addiction.

 

AMMAs sun could care less of what any of you think of him.what does he have to

fear when his AMMAs love is so near.to be honest with you,dear beloved

family,AMMAs sun would highly recomend that you attend a AA meeting.you will

meet some of the most authentic and grateful people on the planet.ECKER TOLLE

says that if you want to find enlightened people to go to the prisons and

LOOK!he forgot to mention 12 step meetings.HAH!HAH!' this child would not trade

his wretchedness in for the world.

 

i do not wish my path on anyone,however what can i do?i am what i am.AMMAs

beloved darling child is what I AM and so are YOU beloved.i care about the

homeless because i once was homeless,i care about the hungry,because i have been

hungry.i care about the addicts because ,i have suffered in that way.i care

about the abused,because my mother and step father abused me.i care about AMMAS

darling sons and daughters incarsarated because i have cried devotional tears to

AMMA in the heart of a prison cell.i care about the gang-banger because i use to

be a gang leader and i know that path.i care about mothers who suffered because

i have seen the teary eyes of my mother as she watched me almost bleed to death

from being shot in the chest.OH HOW BLESSED this life is.

 

AMMA just told me that " temba had a good attitude about LIFE " that is because

he says thankyou and he sees it ALL as a GIFT!SHE has taken all the " shit " of

this LIFE and turned it into fertilizer!

 

within five to ten years, AMMA will turn n.america upside down!SHE will shake

this place up very soon.LOVE DOES THAT!america is not america anymore.IT IS

AMMARICA!this is not a play on words.open your eyes and heart beloved

family!AMMA has launched a project to build homes for homeless people in the

richest country on the planet!THAT IS A HUGE STATEMENT OF HER LOVE AND

COMPASSION!
