The whole world is a play. All abuses, criticisms, insults, hatred and anger showered on him return unaccepted to those from whom they came. Whatever is not accepted is returned to the giver. Or another way of putting it is that a Realized Soul accepts everything. He accepts things, but they cannot remain with him. He is like a doorway; things just pass through him. Nothing can remain with him. Or you can say that he is like fire. What is thrown in the fire gets consumed by the flames and disappears. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Amarnath, >> All abuses, criticisms, insults, hatred and anger >> showered on him return unaccepted to those from >> whom they came. Whatever is not accepted is >> returned to the giver. What Amma says reminded me of this Budha story: Budha was well known for his state of peace and serenity. A person in a nearby village heard about this and wanted to put to test Budha's unperturbed nature. He came to see Budha and asked him if he could stay with Budha for a few days. Budha agreed. Everyday after that this man verbally abused Budha and called Him names. Budha was unperturbed. He stayed peaceful and calm in spite of the continued verbal abuse. After a few days the man asked Budha: " How could you remain peaceful despite my incessant verbal abuse? " Budha replied: " Say, you give a gift to someone but that person does not accept your gift. Then who does that gift belong to? " The man replied: " Me. " Om Amriteswaryayi Namaha.
