Guest guest
Namah Shivaya! Amma wrapped up Devi Bhava around 8 am this morning - it was a wonderful two days of living in Amma energy and I'm still high from it! It's hard to put into words what all happened - so many connections and so much grace and a common thread of working together made Her visit a total success, imho. The music the whole two days was terrific - a lot of dancing and whirling dervishes, especially at the end - I felt like I was at a Grateful Dead concert in 1969! Amma was quite playful and even giddy at times, and it was a delight to be around her. They have this seva called star gazing, where you sit practically at Amma's feet and just watch her, and I got to do that for a good while on Devi Bhava night. She would smile at me, sort of wink, and even mouthed a word in my direction which I didn't catch. I got to sing an English bhajan for Amma with our bhajan group, and when I went to get darshan, the first thing she said to me was, " Nice bhajan. " Just another example of how she doesn't miss a trick. Needless to say, I was struck by her ability to know everything going on around her, down to the finest detail. And I also got to meet our own Tom Gull, and guess what? He has a soul and is actually a very nice man, and I can vouch for his character. He went out of his way to introduce himself, and I was delighted to meet him (Hi Tom!). Anyway, that's a summary of my greatest awarenesss of her visit. I will be ingesting all that happened for a long time. Blessings to everyone. -Achyut
