Amma carried sand & bricks, swept, collected trash and cleaned clogged drains

On this day, beginning at nine o'clock in the morning, all the Ashram

residents and some visiting devotees were engrossed in cleaning the

Ashram premises. It goes without saying that Mother was also present.

Like everyone else, She carried sand and bricks, swept, collected trash

and cleaned clogged drains. Whatever work Her children did, Mother did

as well. Her presence gave vigor and enthusiasm to all those who
