Guest guest
I'm wondering if Amma's ashrams, especially those in West, if they have an energy-conserving policy or practices. Not necessarily " green " focus, but general. For example, at my workplace, I noticed they have timer-light switches for almost everything. Sure, they're all florescent fixtures, but the interior rooms have motion sensor timers and the outer buildings have manual turn-type timer switches. With the exception of the mechanic's bay which I'm sure is a safety/security function. The reason for the timers on the outer buildings I heard was because the ballasts on the ceiling lights were burning out often enough to be costly, and were recommended by an electrician. tom
