Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, This is non-Amma, but in Her spirit of serving the poor. Want to spread the word on extreme needs at the poorest reservation & how you can easily make a difference to someone. The stories I've heard of undersized children & pregnant mothers without food are heart breaking. Malnutrition is alive & well in the U.S. If you have used, good condition clothes, blankets, etc..., please go to Nativeprogress.org then look under " Programs " for " Okini. " You can ship directly to very poor families who've suffered losses from theft, fire, etc... Some who were on the list didn't have running water, working phone. The non-profit that runs Native Progress is One. Their mission statement looks like something Amma would write! Thank you for reading this, Sweta Helping Pine Ridge Reservation, one donation at a time! http://FriendsofPineRidgeReservation.org
Guest guest
thankyou beloved sweta.thankyou for reminding me of what it truly means to be a AMMA devotee.i have learned that the true spirit of devotion is far beyond just loving AMMAs smile etc.that is good, however loving AMMA is to love the principle of LOVE and SERVICE that shines through HER smile and works through HER hands.the way i LOVE that principle and bring it into the realm of reality is to act compassionatly, that is the simple truth. the mind will complicate it,however loving and serving is so simple.love is so simple.thankyou once again dear sweta. ammachi: swetabc: Fri, 16 May 2008 10:49:48 -0700 Non-Amma (Pine Ridge needs old clothes, etc...)
