Thought I'd pass this on:

Picked up a " mood lite " today at Walmart. I

think it was $2.50 or something like that,

much cheaper than here (for description):

Years ago I noticed the effect of either colored

walls or colored lamps for their subtle effects.

This brand is way better than the " party " light

bulbs I used to use because these come in more

colors and provide plenty of light for 25W, and

the filament doesn't show, so there's less glare.

The party bulbs I've used in the past seemed to

either fade or the color 'cracked' letting

regular light through, so hopefully these will

last longer.

Each purchase benefits iFred which is a non-profit

benefiting research for treating depression.

I used to have a ground floor apartment which was

halfway below grade and poor lighting. I painted

my walls a sky blue to mimic a clear-sky day and

used energy-guzzling torchere lamps during the day

to create false daylight to keep my energy up.

People that came over back then (I did alot of

healing work then) always commented how calming

the blue was. I had neighbors that painted their

walls orange which was actually ok looking, too.

Color therapy can also be applied to strengthening

planets that need it, in your Jyotish chart.

$2.97 at Wallymart, and I guess they're

best in a standard lamp. I had mine in a desktop

with a curved reflector and I noticed a spot had

faded, closest to the reflector part, probably

from the heat. Similar had happened when

I used the party lights in a standing 3-light

fixture, but they lasted longer.
