She was giving a discourse at the Brahmasthana Temple here on Friday. “Love is the basis for joy. You can perform your duties well only if you are happy. Love widens your horizons. It makes you more creative. Spirituality is the art of discovering joy,” she said. Discovering happiness, she observed, required will power. “The key to happiness is simply deciding to be so. You need to tell yourself, ‘Come what may, I am going to be happy’. And you should remain happy through good and bad times,” she said. Earlier, she was received at the venue by AICC secretary TomVadakken, Dhanalakshmi Bank general manager V. G. Jayakumar and Sobha Menon of Sobha Developers. District Collector V. K. Baby released a special souvenir by handing over a copy to Kathakali maestro Kalamandalam Gopi.
